Installation and Uninstallation

1. Download the Gubcast zip file - e.g., gubcast-1.0-D.zip - to the directory of your choice, Gubcast-directory.
2. Unzip the file using whatever zip tool you have available. For example:
   • On Microsoft Windows you might use WinZip (version 7.0 or later) to unzip the file.
   • On a Unix system, such as Linux or Solaris: at a terminal console window, cd to Gubcast-directory and then type (assuming your shell is csh or bash):

     %unzip gubcast-1.0-D.zip
     

   Gubcast-directory will then contain the entire Gubcast distribution tree (see the tour).
